The Lyra, also set of chimes, is a percussion instrument of Marschkapellen and resembles in its form of greek Lyre. However, it is instead vertical strings 25 to 27 horizontal metal bars with a rubber, wood or plastic Mallet struck. Bass with are usually equipped with 22 bars.
There are Diatonic and Chromatic with with a range of one and a half to two octaves in the moods C, Ces and B.
The comments range from simple designed with tubular frame-up to lavishly carved and heavier chorus lyre with which the end of frame right and left are working a head of a lion. For ornamentation of the lyre, the two end of frames colourful tail of synthetic hair hanged. At the top of the lyre tail is mostly a screw up eagle.
Their high mood is very how and works in harmony with Piccoloflutes particularly radiant.
